Hotels chains

The main purpose of a hotel chain is to offer a both modern and comfortable accommodation for travellers. Some are national, some are international.

Some of them have a famous brand name, and even own the buildings of the hotels. Others are a group of smaller independent hotels. Their common characteristic is that they all agree to a certification program based on the quality of services and the ecological aspects of the hotel (recycling, nuisance solving, energy and water consumption, etc.)

All those hotel chains have their own website where their customers or prospects can make their own reservation very quickly, certain of the quality of the product and the services they are about to buy online.

The hotel chains choose the hotels to be grouped together under a same brand name depending on their positioning whether it be upscale, mid range, or special activities like conferences or touristic services. Many of them work closely with airlines to be able to offer « last minute products » on their website, where the customer can « live » make his plane ticket reservation, along with the accommodation service.

Hotel chains offer a wide range of hotels making it easy to choose depending of the length of the trip, the destination or the budget. It allows the customer to search into a specific type of accommodation (balneology, …) or unusual ones (tree houses) for example, but with the insurance of a quality, resulting of a famous brand name.
